Industry 4.0 Certification, without the headaches
We support companies through the Industry 4.0 Certification process — from machine interconnection to the sworn technical appraisal.
What we do
Eligibility analysis
We check whether your assets fall under Annexes A/B and which 4.0 requirements need to be met.
Interconnection
We connect machines and plants to the company management system and the supply network: the key 4.0 requirement.
Sworn technical appraisal
An appraisal sworn by a chartered engineer or industrial expert, or a certificate of conformity for eligible assets.
Tax credit
We guide you through the documentation needed to benefit from the Transition 4.0 plan tax credit.
Integration with VMES45
Interconnection can rely on VMES45 to collect and store the machine data required by the regulation.
End-to-end support
From the initial assessment to the delivery of the documentation, we follow the whole process on your behalf.
The Transition 4.0 plan
The Transition 4.0 plan supports and incentivises companies investing in new capital goods, tangible and intangible, that enable the technological and digital transformation of production processes. The incentive applies to production facilities located in Italy, including permanent establishments of non-resident entities, regardless of legal form, sector, size, accounting regime or income determination system.
Companies are granted a tax credit for the purchase of technologically advanced tangible capital goods and technologically advanced intangible capital goods enabling 4.0 transformation processes.
For technologically advanced goods, tangible and intangible, companies must produce a sworn technical appraisal issued by an engineer or industrial expert enrolled in their respective professional registers, or a certificate of conformity issued by an accredited certification body, attesting that the goods possess the technical characteristics set out in Annexes A and B and that they are interconnected to the company's production management system or supply network. For goods with a unit cost not exceeding €300,000, a declaration by the legal representative is sufficient.
