This notice describes how the personal data of visitors to the Certificazioni 4.0 website (cert40.syncode.it) is processed, pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Syncode SCARL, with registered office in Italy. For any request concerning the processing of personal data you can write to privacy@syncode.it.
2. Data we collect
- Browsing data: IP address (anonymised when we use Google Analytics), browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of the visit.
- Data provided voluntarily: name, email and message entered in the contact or information-request forms (e.g. the "Can't find your sector" form).
- Cookies: as described in the Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes of processing
- Providing and improving the website's services.
- Responding to contact requests.
- Analysing website usage in aggregate form (only with your consent).
- Complying with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on: the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) for contact forms; the controller's legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) in the security of the website; the data subject's express consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) for analytics and marketing cookies.
5. Retention period
Contact data is kept for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
6. Disclosure and transfer of data
Data may be disclosed to technical service providers (hosting, analytics, email) appointed as data processors pursuant to art. 28 GDPR. Any transfers outside the EU take place with adequate safeguards in place (Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Rights of the data subject
Data subjects have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests should be addressed to privacy@syncode.it. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
8. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated to reflect regulatory or product changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
